Women’s Championship of Kazakhstan to Be Played in a New Format

The Department for National Competitions of the Kazakhstan Ice Hockey Federation has released the calendar for the 2025/26 Women’s Championship of Kazakhstan.

Six teams will compete for medals this season: Aisulu, Tomiris, Torpedo, Aisulu-Tandauly, Gracia, and Zhuldyz. The structure of the competition has undergone major changes — instead of playing in separate rounds, teams will now compete in a traveling format, similar to the Pro and Jastar Ligasy championships.

The championship will consist of two stages: the regular season (20 games per team) and the playoffs.

Tomiris’ Schedule in the Qyzdar Ligasy Regular Season:

·       Sept 24–25: Torpedo – Tomiris in Ust-Kamenogorsk

·       Oct 10–11: Tomiris – Zhuldyz in Astana
