KHL. Avtomobilist - Barys 3:5

In the second game of the roadstand series, Barys outplayed Avtomobilist.

Barys' training staff made only one change to the roster. Jeremy Bracco replaced Dmitri Gurkov on the attacking line.

Anton Sagadeyev was the main protagonist in the opening minutes of the match. First, he pushed the puck into the goal after a bounce off the board, and a little later he converted the power play after an unsuccessful request from the Avtomobilist training staff. Barys' 89 player extended his scoring streak to five games. Before the break, Sergei Shirokov netted one goal with a 4-on-3.

Yegor Petukhov scored his 15th goal of the season early in the second half. A little later, Yegor Shalapov's cross and Dmitry Shevchenko's shot were effective for the guests. Next, Oleg Li and Jesse Graham's leg contributed to Avtomobilist's second goal. In the final minute, the Astana team capitalized on man-advantage once again with Jeremy Bracco.

Stephane Da Costa provided the fans and the teams with a heated end early in the third period. Julius Hudacek had another puck in his goal, but an offside request from the Kazakhstan coaching staff followed. And the referees, after watching a replay of the episode, cancelled the goal. Most likely, this episode was the key to the game. The score remained unchanged until the final siren.

Barys returns to eighth place in the East. On 23 January, Andrei Skabelka's men will play against Metallurg in Magnitogorsk.
