KHL. Metallurg – Barys 2-1 OT

In the final game of the roadstand series, Barys lost in overtime to Metallurg.

Astana training staff made only one change in their roster. Emil Nurgaliyev was replaced by Tamirlan Gaitamirov in the fourth defensive combination.

In the first half, audience witnessed only one scoring chance. Adil Beketayev found Jeremy Bracco on the other side's blue line with a great pass from his own net and the forward didn't miss his chance. It is worth noting that Julius Hudacek made the first pass in this attack. Metalurg responded in the opening stages of the second period when Andrei Chibisov caught the guest's goalie unawares with backhand shot.
