After the match Avtomobilist - Barys (2:3 S) a press conference was held with the Head Trainers of both teams.

- It's a tough game, after the match a week ago, we had a little bit of practice, analyzing the situation. Increased in our energy, on the ice today we had a team. We fell a little short in regulation time, but got the win on a shootout.

- Was it noticeable that your team was actively trying to play interceptions, is that a component that you paid attention to after the last game?

- No, it's just that in the last game, as you could see, we didn't have proper movement, and hockey doesn't happen without any movement, there are no chances and goals. When you move faster, you create chances and force your opponent to make mistakes.

- When will Barber be back?

- He's had a concussion, ten days for sure, it's been a week. Other guys should be there too, the same Starchenko in two weeks, the same Daniyar. We're waiting for them.

- Artyom Korolyov made his debut in the last game, and in this game Ruslan Ospanov played his first game in the KHL. How would you rate the youngsters' play?

- Korolyov has already played at the World Cup, he was just injured, had a vertebrae injury, that's why he wasn't included in the team, although he is a pretty reliable defenseman, I think he should be included in the first team. Ospanov is a very fast forward, last year he was in America, in "Nomad" he showed his worth and, I think, we deservedly took him in the first team, he doesn't get lost and does his job.

- Tough game. We made gross mistakes that led to conceded goals. Although they played 24 minutes in the offensive zone, they possessed the puck for more than a period, netting only two goals, but it wasn't enough to win. In overtime we didn't convert a good chance, and we lost the shootout.

- Don't you think it's not the first game when Avtomobilist fails to play well in the rebounding zone? After the first shot, a rebound, the opponents take the puck out.

- Today, Obidin scored a goal from the perimeter- it was planned that there would be floats, there would be a player under the goal. Another couple of moments where Filyayev didn't hit an empty net in the second period, there are subtleties and our mistakes. We have absolutely no right to make such mistakes, concede those goals - we have to be responsible for every moment.

- Didn't it seem to you that Shirokov was losing out on the Valk-Macek connection?

- We wanted to move the links, to cheer up the team a little bit, but we scored the second goal in time. He's the leader of the team, the captain, hopefully he'll act as part of that trio.
