Barys Cuts Karmet’s Lead Down to a Single Point

Barys left no chance for Arlan in the second matchup in Kokshetau. Nikita Lomako and Rakhimbek Meirman each scored twice, while goalie Leonid Kravtsov turned aside 33 shots.

With this win, Andrei Shayanov’s team reduced the gap to league-leading Karmet to just one point. Barys now sits at 46 points through 24 games. Up next is a head-to-head showdown with the Temirtau side — the teams will face off on December 2 and 3 in Astana.
