A press conference with the head coaches of the teams was held after the match Barys vs Lokomotiv (0:6).

- The game was quite persistent for two periods. We managed to withstand counterattacks, which were dangerous. A quick third goal probably predetermined the outcome of the match. Let's get ready to move on.

- In your opinion, was it Lokomotiv today superior to Barys in all components, or did Barys get relaxed? It appeared from the outside that the match was such a nice easy walk for Lokomotiv.

- I'll speak for my team. For two periods there was definitely no walk. Should the opponent score with their own chances... Vanya cleared it up. And the third goal was like a cold shower for Barys. It's hard to recover when the opponent has such an advantage. I don't know about the opponent's team, but it wasn't an easy walk for us.

- Was one call a consequence of the fact that you knew about Barys' good power play, or was it the way the game was played?

- We prepared seriously and analysed the powerplay, of course. I won't say that we put emphasis on not being removed. Do it or don't do it, the game dictates its rules. But I think the overall mindset allowed us to not do anything stupid.

- The guys lacked a little bit of freshness. We'll analyse the game, see if there's anything we can do. Everyone realises that it's not good to lose either. I think the next game will be different.

- Why didn't you change the goalkeeper when the score was 3:0 or 4:0?

- Andrei Shutov has a microtrauma. We didn't risk making it worse. He will recover to the end now and be in line.

- When will Grant, Assetov, Shalapov be back?

- All waiting for their time. Alikhan is getting ready, Shalapov had food poisoning, Grant had a hernia.

- Two periods were played without penalties, what happened in the third? Just the lack of freshness you were talking about?

- Wanted to get the puck quicker, didn't have the patience. We wanted to get back on track, we got a penalty. And the reasons for penalties: didn't put his stick away in time, tripped over the stick, put his hand. When a person wants to get the puck quicker, you get those penalties. They said we had to play more patiently, not get penalties. It turned out the way it did.
