Barys youth team defeated Torpedo in overtime in the opening game of the second round of the Jastar Ligasy playoffs.
The winning goal came on the power play from Nikita Lomako, while goaltender Leonid Kravtsov made 29 saves to secure the victory.
As a result, RinAt Omarbekov’s team moved ahead 1-0 in the best-of-seven semifinal series. The second game between the teams will take place tomorrow in Astana.
