Barys' Point Streak Comes to an End

Barys wrapped up its road trip with a game against Avtomobilist. Maksim Mukhametov replaced the injured Emil Galimov in the lineup, while Roman Starchenko returned after missing the previous game.

The match began with the visitors successfully killing off a penalty, but then a costly defensive mistake allowed the hosts to open the scoring. Shortly after, the Astana side answered with a goal by Alikhan Asetov. The teams went into the first intermission tied.

The second period proved decisive. Following another defensive error by Barys, Dakosta restored Avtomobilist's lead. Just moments later, Denis Bushuyev capitalized on a rebound to extend the advantage. Roman Starchenko had a chance to bring Barys back into the game, but failed to convert a penalty shot. The final period produced no goals.

On January 15, Mikhail Kravets' team will host Neftekhimik in Astana.
