In the 2024–2025 KHL season, 16 players from the Barys system made their first appearances with the team. We continue introducing fans to the club’s newcomers who have taken their first steps at the professional level.
Danil Butenko had long been on the verge of joining the main roster, but his official debut came on October 23, 2024, in an away game against Sibir. Since then, the defenseman has played 35 games, recording four assists and averaging 10 minutes and 12 seconds of ice time per game. His stats also include 17 hits and 37 blocked shots.
