KHL. Barys - Amur 5:2

In the first match of the home series, Barys defeated Amur.

The coaching staff of Barys made only one change compared to the last match. Arkady Shestakov replaced Kirill Panyukov in the lineup.

The hosts opened the scoring in the sixth minute of the match. Jakob Lilja played well on the opposite goal crease, and sent the puck into the top corner of Alikin's goal. The guests responded with a successful man-advantage at the beginning of the second game period - Michal Jordan scored. Shortly before the second break, Matthew Frettin successfully put the stick under the throw of Roman Starchenko, and again brought Barys forward.

In the first change of the third period, Curtis Valk consolidated the home team's advantage, with Barys playing in the minority at this point. In the middle of the period, Alikhan Assetov scored his first goal of the season. A little later, Lilja scored a double. The final goal was made by the guests. Dominik Masin upset Ortio for the second time, but it did not affect the outcome of the game.

On December 28, Barys will play with Sibir at home.
