KHL. Barys – Metallurg. Before the match

Barys closes the calendar year with a home match with Metallurg.

The Magnitogorsk team visited Ufa on Monday, where they were defeated by Salavat Yulaev with a score of 2:4. Goals by Andrey Chibisov and Bogdan Potekhin brought the visitors back into game, but the hosts still tipped the scales in their favor in the third period.

Metallurg earned 50 points in 40 games of the regular season, which allows the Ilya Vorobyov team to take the fifth place in the Eastern Conference. However striker Sergei Mozyakin will not help the Magnitogorsk team in the next match, as he is listed in the injured reserve.
