KHL. Barys - Sibir 3:1

A team from the capital of Kazakhstan won in another showdown against Sibir.

Kirill Savitski and Adil Beketayev, who missed the last game for medical reasons, return to the lineup. They replaced Batyrlan Muratov and Yegor Shalapov.

The game began with two consecutive penalties on the team. Barys earned the majority on their own and converted it with Jeremy Bracco's efforts. The 97th Astana player found a slot in front of the gates and ended his 11-match streak without a goal. Sibir knotted the score in the second half of the second period. The guests escaped on a counterattack, and Vyacheslav Osnovin hit the top corner of Julius Hudacek's goal.

The denouement came just before the final siren. Linden Vey, after a brilliant pass from Bracco, scored his 12th puck of the season on the power play. Kirill Savitski finished the game, hitting Sibir's empty net. Thus, Andrei Skabelka's wards broke their losing streak. Barys will take Admiral on the homestand on November 3.
