Barys hockey club officially announces the conclusion of a contract with Nikita Mikhailis. The unilateral agreement with the forward is for one season (until April 30, 2023).
The forward of the Kazakhstan national team played for teams from the Barys system throughout his career. Overall, Nikita played 353 matches in the KHL and earned 180 (84+96) points.
Last season turned out to be the best in the athlete's career. He scored 44 (18+26) points and became the top sharpshooter, as well as the scorer of Barys at the end of the KHL regular season. In the playoffs, Mikhailis recorded a scored goal and an assist.
In May, the forward played at the World Championship in the elite division. For 7 meetings, 6 (2+4) points are listed in his statistics.
