KHL. Dinamo Minsk – Barys 4:3 SO

In the first match of a new season, Barys lost to Dinamo Minsk in a shootout - 3:4.

The scoring was opened in the middle of the first segment. Dmitry Sokolov hit the top corner of Andrey Shutov's goal with an excellent throw from entrance to the zone. At the beginning of the second segment, Nick Merkley scored in a similar style. The first goal of Barys in a new season was made by Anton Sagadeyev, who successfully played in the opponents' goal crease in power play.

At the beginning of the final third Sagadeyev scored a double, and a little later Adil Beketayev scored his first goal in KHL and brought his team in front. However, in the end, Dynamo, through the efforts of Brandon Kozun, turned the game into overtime, and then won in a shootout thanks to point-blank shot by Vladimir Alistrov.
