Moscow hosted a working meeting between the leadership of the Kontinental Hockey League and Barys Hockey Club. The meeting was attended by KHL President Alexey Morozov and Barys General Director Saken Musaibekov.
During the talks, the parties discussed key aspects of preparation for the new season, including sports and organizational matters, marketing strategy, and the development of the club’s infrastructure. Special attention was given to improving the game-day experience, promoting the club brand, boosting activity on social media, and creating modern video content.
The meeting also addressed fan and sponsor engagement, arena modernization, and the development of youth hockey — from children’s academies to the junior team. In particular, discussions included the participation of the Youth Sports School teams in tournaments across the Ural, Siberian, and Volga Federal Districts.
As a result, both sides confirmed their commitment to continued cooperation aimed at strengthening Barys’ position in the KHL, supporting Snezhnye Barsy’s participation in the MHL, and the club’s involvement in the KHL 3x3 championship.
