The club Kunlun Red Star has officially requested a name change for the upcoming KHL season. The League has launched a remote vote of the Board of Directors regarding adjustments to the list of championship participants.
The team will now compete under the new name Shanghai Dragons and will be based in St. Petersburg, playing home games at the SKA Arena.
