In their final home game of 2025, Barys will host Amur.
In the previous round, the Khabarovsk side lost on the road to Salavat Yulaev in Ufa, 2–4. Yaroslav Dyblenko and Kirill Petkov scored for Amur, while Maxim Dorozhko turned aside 22 shots. Head coach Alexander Andriyevsky said his team ran out of steam in the third period, and after one costly mistake they had to open up their game, which the opponent took advantage of.
After 39 games, the Tigers have earned 36 points and currently sit sixth in the Eastern Conference standings. Ignat Korotkikh (9 goals, 11 assists) and Oleg Lee (8 goals, 12 assists) are Amur’s top scorers so far this season. Maxim Dorozhko ranks among the league’s top six goaltenders in save percentage (92.8%). Defenseman Roman Abrosimov remains sidelined with an injury.
On Thursday, Barys suffered a 1–4 home loss to Avtomobilist. Jake Massie scored the team’s only goal, while Dinmukhamed Kaiyrzhan reached the 10-assist mark for the season. Nikita Boyarkin made 17 saves. Head coach Mikhail Kravets noted that his team played quite well and did not deserve to lose by that margin. With 34 points from 40 games, the Kazakhstani club has slipped out of the playoff zone, but trails eighth place by just one point.
The puck drops for Barys vs. Amur at 4:30 p.m. Astana time.
