Pre-Game Preview: MHK Molot vs. Snezhnye Barsy

Today marks the fifth game in Snezhnye Barsy's road trip, as they face off against MHK Molot.

The team from Perm has played just one game this season, and it ended on a high note. They started their campaign with an away game against Mamonty Yugry, who currently sit at the bottom of the Golden Division. Alexander Ageev’s squad claimed a historic victory over the Khanty-Mansiysk team, winning 3:2 in a shootout. The decisive goal was scored by Daniil Stefanov. As of now, MHK Molot is in 8th place in the Silver Division standings. Tonight’s game will be their first home match of the season.

Snezhnye Barsy began their season with a road series and have already played four matches, two of which ended in victories. The first two games against Loko-76 were closely contested, with the hosts securing wins in overtime. The following two matches against AKM Novomoskovsk proved successful for the Astana team. In the first game, they claimed a commanding 8:3 victory, highlighted by a hat trick from Beibarys Orazov and a double from Vladimir Korchagin. The second game saw another confident win, this time 5:1, with Artur Gross scoring twice. Snezhnye Barsy currently hold 3rd place in the Silver Division. Beibarys Orazov was recently named MHL Defenseman of the Week.
