Barys wraps up its road trip with a matchup against the Eastern Conference leader, Traktor.

On Friday, Traktor secured a home victory over Ak Bars (3-2). The Chelyabinsk team was trailing 0-2 midway through the game, but a double from Nikita Korostelyov and a precise shot from Alexander Kadeikin (his 20th goal of the season) turned the tide in favor of the hosts. Zach Fucale recorded 22 saves. Head coach Benoît Groulx was pleased with his team’s puck movement, defensive performance, and the solid play of his defensemen.

Traktor has accumulated 84 points in 61 games and boasts the highest-scoring offense in the conference with 191 goals. Maxim Shabanov (19+35) ranks among the top five scorers of the regular season.

Barys, in its last game, secured a shootout win over Lada. During regulation, Kirill Panyukov and Roman Starchenko added to their goal tallies, while Adil Beketayev netted the decisive shootout attempt. Andrey Shutov made 36 saves.
