First Win of the Season for Snezhnye Barsy

Today, Snezhnye Barsy faced Sputnik and managed to break their losing streak. In a high-scoring game, the Astana side netted 9 goals against 7 from their opponent, claiming victory with a two-goal margin.

From the very beginning, the game was played at high speed, with both teams taking turns in the lead. Nikita Sitnikov scored twice, while Timur Mindubaev found the net for the second time this season after his debut goal in Tolyatti. The first period ended with a massive brawl: Alexander Simakhin and Alihan Bakhyt received two minutes each for roughing, Rati Durglishvili was given a 10-minute misconduct, and Sanzhar Ibragim accumulated 27 penalty minutes, forcing him to leave the game early.

In the second period, Egor Kravchenko scored a double, while Roman Dvurechensky, Damir Britikov, and Amirkhan Shegebayev all netted their first goals in the MHL. In the final twenty minutes, Dvurechensky struck again, becoming the third player of the night to record a double for Snezhnye Barsy.

Tomorrow, Anton Vasins’s team will once again face Sputnik. The game starts at 20:30 Astana time.
