A new uniform, a legendary captain, and an autograph session for the fans: Highlights from Barys' presentation

On August 9, Barys Arena hosted the team’s presentation ahead of the 2024/25 season. The event drew approximately 1000 fans, giving them the chance to meet the updated roster, collect autographs, and take memorable photos.

The presentation kicked off with Barsik unveiling the new home jerseys. In the coming days, we’ll provide fans with a detailed look at all the changes to the uniform.

This season is special as Barys will celebrate its 25th anniversary in November. In honor of this milestone, the teams within the club's system underwent a rebranding of their corporate identity. New logos and uniforms for Tomiris, Snow Leopards, and Nomad were introduced by players Anastasia Orazbayeva, Beybarys Orazov, and Dias Huseynov.

The new Tomiris logo features a multicolored, detailed design. The frontal image is softer and more feminine than before, yet it still conveys the majesty and beauty of the Saka ruler.

The youth team’s logo showcases a snarling snow leopard, with its spots forming a pattern inspired by national ornaments. The design is minimalistic, with bold «strokes» that are ideal for the digital environment, while maintaining the anatomical integrity of the leopard.

The farm team’s updated logo depicts the head of a nomad, staring directly at the viewer with a fierce, uncompromising expression. The logo's clean, graphic design aligns with the club's vertical color palette, emphasizing the unity of the teams.

During the presentation, fans were introduced to the coaching staff, led by David Nemirovsky. Barys' general director, Boris Ivanishchev, also introduced the new members of the main team and presented them with personalized jerseys, following tradition.

The names of Barys' captain and assistants for the upcoming season were revealed as well. The club’s legend and Kazakhstani hockey icon, Roman Starchenko, will once again wear the captain's «C» on his jersey, entering his 16th season with the team. He will be supported by Damir Zhafyarov and Adil Beketaev as assistants.

The event concluded with an autograph session, where fans had the opportunity to meet all the players of the updated Barys roster, as well as members of the coaching staff.
