Snezhnye Barsy Fall to Perm Side in First Meeting

Today, the Astana team faced MHK Molot for the first time this season. The hosts suffered a 2:4 defeat.

Snezhnye Barsy opened the scoring in the first period thanks to a precise shot by Aituar Nurzhanov. However, the visitors quickly responded, with Danil Spiridonov equalizing. Shortly after, Alexander Bolotov scored the second goal for the Perm side, giving them the lead by the end of the opening period.

In the second period, Spiridonov completed his brace. Early in the final frame, Daniil Korotayev extended the lead to three goals. In the 44th minute, Timur Mindubayev pulled one back for the hosts, but that was as close as they would get, and the game ended 2:4.

The two teams will meet again tomorrow at 19:00 at Barys Arena.
