Yuri Mikhailis will continue his work in Barys

Barys Hockey Club announces a contract extension with the head coach Yuri Mikhailis. Term of the agreement is one year (until April 30, 2022).

Recall that Mikhailis headed Barys last summer, and now the team once again reached KHL playoffs. In May, Mikhailis made his debut as the head coach of the Kazakhstan national team within elite division at the World Championship. At the tournament in Latvia, our team achieved a record result – four victories and the fifth place in group. 

There were no changes in coaching staff of Barys. Alexander Achziger, Andrey Shayanov, Maxim Semyonov and Alexander Shimin will continue to assist Yuri Vladimirovich.
