Vladislav Kodola: «Happy to join the team and start a new chapter in my career»

New «Barys» player Vladislav Kodola gave his first comments in an interview with the club's press service after his transfer.

- Vladislav, welcome to «Barys»!

- Thank you! I'm happy to join the team and start a new chapter in my career. It's a very important and interesting challenge for me.

- What did you know about Kazakhstan before?

- Honestly, I don't know much about Kazakhstan yet, I've only been here briefly for games. What I've seen in Astana is certainly impressive. It's a very beautiful and modern city, with a great arena. It will be very interesting to live and play in a new place for me and to experience all the traditions.

- Do you already know any of the players?

- I don't know any of the players yet, but I think that won't be a problem. We'll get acquainted and everything will be fine.

- Have you ever crossed paths with David Nemirovsky?

- I've only crossed paths with David on the ice when I played for another team. So it will be interesting to work with a new coach and system.

- A few words to the fans. What are your expectations for the new season?

- Dear fans! Come support the team this season, it helps and gives us strength! Last season wasn't very successful, so we need and want to make it to the playoffs and fight for the cup there. I'll do my best to contribute to the team's success.
