Hockey club Barys officially announces the signing of a contract with Ansar Shaikhmeddenov. The bilateral agreement is for one season until 30 April 2024.
A graduate of Barys' Children's and Youth School, who has passed all the teams in the club system, played his first full season in the KHL. In 53 games, he scored three goals and made five assists.

- Shaykhmeddenov is a physically strong player who can play on assignment. He showed himself well last season. Despite the fact that he was actually a limiter, the coaching staff occasionally used Ansar in the top line. And he was quite productive there.
