Arina Shchyokolova Named Qyzdar Ligasy’s Best Goaltender

The best players of the Kazakhstan Women’s Hockey Championship have officially been announced.

Tomiris goaltender Arina Shchyokolova was named the league’s top goalie. During the regular season, she appeared in 12 games (720 minutes) and earned 9 wins. She averaged 2.25 goals against per game while posting a 92.1% save percentage.

In the playoffs, Arina elevated her game even further, stopping 95.7% of shots faced and recording an impressive 1.32 goals-against average.
