Barys retains a spot in the Top-3

On December 14 and 15, Vladimir Zavyalov's team visited Almaty. In the first game, the capital team struggled in the opening period and suffered a loss, breaking their seven-game winning streak. Karim Kazhibekov made two points for Barys, while Aldiyar Kalelkhan and Sonmin Tsoy also scored goals.

In the rematch, the capital team secured a confident revenge victory. Once again, the first period proved decisive. For Barys, goals were scored by Aristarkh Kireyev, Alexander Simakhin, Karim Kazhibekov, and Alexander Perkin. Arseny Kuchkovsky made 37 saves. This win marked the 20th victory of the season for Barys.
