Barys Suffer Another Defeat in Vladivostok

Barys wrapped up the first third of the regular season with an away game against Admiral. Adil Beketayev returned to the lineup, while Kirill Lyapunov was included as the 13th forward.

The visitors made a strong start, scoring twice before the end of the ninth minute. First, Alikhan Assetov did an excellent job winning the puck near the blue line in the offensive zone. Just a second later, Asanali Sarkenov skated through the opposing defense and scored his second KHL goal. Some time later, Logan Day found the net after a brilliant pass from Jake Massie. However, before the first intermission, the Sailors reduced the deficit. Following Libor Sulak's shot, Danila Moiseev got his stick on the puck and scored.

The second period was dominated by the home side, who made the most of their opportunities. Goals from Daniil Usmanov, Konstantin Luchevnikov and Borna Rendulic on the power play allowed Admiral to take the lead into the second intermission. In between those goals, Alikhan Omirbekov also found the net for Barys.

Midway through the third period, Justin Bailey converted a power play to bring the Kazakhstan side back into the game. However, with 123 seconds remaining, Grigory Vashchenko scored Admiral's fifth goal to seal the victory.

On November 8, Mikhail Kravets' team will face Amur in Khabarovsk.
