Barys hockey club officially announces conclusion of a contract with Adil Beketayev. Two-way contract is for two seasons until April 30, 2025.
The last stretch was Beketayev's first full season in KHL. For 64 regular season matches, Adil earned 21 (3+18) points and became the highest-scoring defenseman of a team. Spending an average of 18 minutes and 41 seconds on the ice, defensive player threw 68 checks and blocked 93 shots overall.
At the last World Championship in elite division, Beketayev entered the top three players of the Kazakhstan national team.

- Adil is one of the most improved Kazakhstan defensemen. He proved himself in the last KHL season, and played at the World Cup very well. So it was quite important for us to keep him in roster. We hope that he will recover quickly after surgery and join the season being in a good physical condition.
