U16 Kazakhstan Championship: Barys Opens Playoffs with Win Over Yunost

The playoff stage of the Kazakhstan U16 Championship (2009-born category, "Elite" group) got underway at Barys Arena, and the home team started strong with a 4:1 win over Yunost.

Roman Lazarenko led the way with two goals, while Kirill Zadorozhny and Ilya Rakhmanin each added one. Goaltender Yelisey Plotnikov stopped 29 shots to secure the win.
