During the 2024–2025 KHL season, 16 players from the Barys system made their debuts with the club. We continue introducing fans to those who got their first taste of action at the next level.
Kirill Lyapunov made his KHL debut for Barys on January 31, 2025, and in just his fifth game, the then 19-year-old forward scored his first KHL goal. By the end of the season, he appeared in 16 games, averaging 12 minutes of ice time. His stats also include one assist, 6 blocked shots, and 11 takeaways.
