Barys has signed a one-way contract with Ian McCoshen. The agreement with the American defenseman is for one season, until May 31, 2026.
McCoshen, drafted by the Florida Panthers in 2013, spent most of his career in North America. His record includes 60 games in the National Hockey League and 244 games in the American Hockey League.
Ian made his Kontinental Hockey League debut in the 2024–2025 season. In 61 games with Kunlun Red Star, he scored 4 goals and added 11 assists, while blocking 90 opponent shots and delivering 113 hits.
