We continue reviewing the individual performances of Barys Astana players during the 2025/26 Kontinental Hockey League regular season.
Alikhan Omirbekov enjoyed the best season of his career so far, showing noticeable improvement in several key areas. The forward played in all 68 regular season games and recorded 17 points (5 goals + 12 assists), averaging around 15 and a half minutes of ice time per game.
In addition, Omirbekov blocked 47 shots — tied with Alikhan Asetov for the best mark among the team’s forwards — and made 30 takeaways, the highest total among Barys forwards.
