KHL Barys – Avangard 5:3

In their second home game of the season, Barys was stronger than Avangard.  

The trainer staff decided not to change the winning squad after the match with Traktor.  The first goal was scored in the middle of the launch period. Ansar Shaikhmeddenov played well in the rival's goal crease and sent the puck into the net. For the young graduate of BCYS School, this goal was his debut in the KHL.

Anthony Luiz has strengthen the team's lead just before halftime. He scored as a result of a prolonged positional attack by Barys. But six seconds before the end of the segment, Vladimir Tkachev brought Avangard back into the game.

At the beginning of the final third, Ivan Mishchenko scored his first goal for Barys with a sharp shot under the bar. A minute and a half later, Linden Wei outflank a rival for the fourth time. However, Dmitry Ryabykin's wards didn't give up and once again cut the lead to a minimum through the efforts of Sergey Tolchinsky and Vladimir Brukvin.  But the Kazakhs left their opponent behind Anthony Luis scored a double with a throw into an empty net after an excellent pass from Jeremy Bracco. 5:3 – the winning of Barys.

On September 16, Andrei Skabelka's team will meet Avangard again on home ice.
