Barys Hockey Club has signed American forward Mason Morelli to a new contract. The one-way agreement is valid for two seasons and runs through May 31, 2028.
In his very first season in the KHL, Morelli finished among Barys' top three scorers. He recorded 12 goals and 24 assists in 63 games. The forward also won 51.4% of his faceoffs, delivered 54 hits, and averaged 19 minutes of ice time per game.

"We have decided to extend Mason Morelli's contract. He is a reliable and hardworking forward who performed very well last season. He provided the offensive production we needed and finished among the team's top three scorers. We expect him to continue delivering consistent performances in the upcoming season."
