The former overtook Nikolay Goldobin and moved into the lead in the list of top scorers in the championship (15+38), the latter scored his 28th puck of the season and leads the top sniper race by a small margin. Ilya Proskuryakov deflected 27 shots on goal.

Mikhail Kravets' wards have earned 53 points in 37 games, which puts them in second place in the East. Forward Ilya Reingardt is on the injured list.

Barys came to Omsk with three wins in the last four games. On Sunday, the Astana team pulled out a 3-2 overtime win over Severstal on the road.
