Dinamo Minsk - Barys: Game Preview

Dinamo Minsk will be Barys’ second opponent on their western road trip.

Last Saturday, the Belarusian capital’s team defeated Torpedo 2:1 in overtime on the road. Sergey Kuznetsov and Sam Anas scored the goals, while Zach Fucale made 25 saves. Sergey Brylin noted that the team had managed to maintain the required pace and make good decisions with the puck for most of the game, but penalties late in the match could have spoiled the result.

Dinamo Minsk have earned 20 points in 19 games in the regular season. Christopher Tierney (3+16) is among the league’s leading scorers and assist providers. Vasily Demchenko, Sergey Kalinin and Nicholas Melosh are on the injured list.

On Monday, Barys lost 1:4 to Avtomobilist in Yekaterinburg. Jake Massie added to his goal tally, while Hunter Shepard made 31 saves. Mikhail Kravets said his team had a poor opening period, which affected the course of the game.

Barys remain on 21 points after 19 games. Justin Bailey (12+9) continues to lead the regular season in both goals and total points.

The game between Dinamo Minsk and Barys starts at 21:10 Kazakhstan time.

The game will be broadcast live on Qazsport.
