Today, the Astana team played their final October game, hosting the visitors from Primorye. Until the sixth minute of the second period, the guests maintained their lead, outshooting the hosts and preventing them from scoring. However, at the 29th minute, Asanali Ruslanuly scored the first goal for Snezhnye Barsy while shorthanded. After that, the Astana side took control of the game — Aituar Nurzhanov and Karim Kazhibekov found the back of the net. It seemed that the match was heading for overtime after a spectacular comeback by the hosts, but Artem Remizov’s accurate shot decided the outcome in favor of Taifun.
After a short break, Snezhnye Barsy will return to the ice for home games against Sputnik on November 11 and 12.
