Snezhnye Barsy Fall to Reaktor

Today, the Astana-based team hosted Nizhnekamsk’s Reaktor as part of a long home stand. Unfortunately, the hosts suffered a 3–6 defeat.

The scoring was opened in the second period by Nikolai Krivolapov. Shortly after, Timur Mindubaev leveled the game, and Yegor Kravchenko put the Barsy ahead. The visitors responded quickly, with Kirill Stolyarov converting on the power play. Near the end of the second period, Matvey Reshetko scored the third goal for Snezhnye Barsy, once again giving the home side a narrow lead.

It seemed that the Astana team had a chance to snap a nine-game losing streak. However, in the final period the initiative completely shifted to Reaktor, who scored four unanswered goals and secured the victory.

The teams will meet again tomorrow, with faceoff scheduled for 7:00 PM.
