U18 World Championship Division IA: Kazakhstan Falls to Slovenia in Shootout


Team Kazakhstan kicked off their U18 Division IA World Championship campaign with a hard-fought battle against Slovenia. Regulation time ended in a 2–2 tie, and neither team managed to score in overtime. The match was ultimately decided in a shootout, where the Slovenians came out on top.

Kazakhstan’s goals came from Aytuar Nurzhanov and Beksultan Makysh, while goaltender Danil Lytkin made 25 saves during regulation and overtime.
