Barys-2009 won the starting tournament of Kazakhstan championship

The first tour of Kazakhstan's championship in hockey among boys born in 2009 in the group "Strongest" was held in Karaganda.

Eight teams entered the battle for championship honors. "Barys-2009" under the leadership of trainers Daniil Daniil Lysy and Viktor Terekhov won six victories in seven meetings, and in one more game lost in a shootout. At the end of the tour the capital team scored 19 points and topped the championship table. Karaganda's Yunost (17 points) took the second position. Ust-Kamenogorsk "Torpedo" (15 points) sealed the top three.

Barys forward Roman Lazarenko (12+4) became the best sharpshooter and second leading scorer in the opening round of the championship.

- Had a good first tour. The only game we lost was against the Strizhy. Guys lacked a little bit of sparkle, didn't implement a lot of chances in this game. The main thing, meetings with major rivals from Karaganda and Ust-Kamenogorsk played at the appropriate quality.
