Barys-2010 won the opening round of the Kazakhstan championship

In Ust-Kamenogorsk took place the first round of the championship of Kazakhstan on ice hockey among young men born in 2010 in Strongest group.

Seven teams entered the battle for championship honours. Barys-2010 under the leadership of coaches Vladimir Logvin and Nikita Medvedev left no chance to their opponents and won all matches with a total difference of 91-15. Our team has 18 points and the first place in the standings following the results of the opening round.

Karaganda's Yunost (15 points) is in second place. The third-placed Torpedo has 11 points.

Barys forward Denis Drobyshev (6+12) shared the title of the most productive player of the tourney with Sanzhar Katenov (11+7) of Yunost.

- The first games were easy - we beat all our opponents with a big score difference. Then we met with Yunost and Torpedo, it was a bit difficult to adjust to the stronger teams. We could have scored more, in some moments the realisation let us down. But, most importantly, we won.
