Barys - bronze medalist of UTLC Ice Cup 2024

The fourth international ice hockey tournament UTLC Ice Cup is coming to an end in Astana. In the match for third place were the hosts Barys and Dynamo Minsk.

Starting period of the game was equal, but with few dangerous chances. So, the teams went into the break with zeros on the scoreboard.

Matvei Karankevich opened the scoring early in the second twenty minutes. And this episode served as a starting point for further developments. Barys came to life and responded quickly with a shot by Aliar Amangeldi. And shortly before the second break, Erasyl Turar put Astana ahead.

The final third was held with total advantage of the Kazakh team. The final siren recorded a confident 7-1 victory for Barys.

Aliar Amangeldi and Miras Zhumabai, who was recognized as the best player for Barys, scored twice each. Daniil Dunchik was named the best player of the meeting.
