Barys Advance to the Jastar Ligasy Semifinals

Barys completed a three-game sweep of Sunkar, closing out the best-of-five quarterfinal series in the minimum number of games.

The decisive stretch came in the third period in Oral, where the visitors scored four unanswered goals to pull away. Amir Gafurov led the way with a two-goal performance, including the game-winning goal. Nurali Aitmagambetov, Leonid Shakenov, Adilkhan Sattar, and Alisher Amangaliyev also found the back of the net. Goaltender Leonid Kravtsovmade 31 saves in the victory.

With the win, Barys became the first team to secure a place in the Jastar Ligasy semifinals. Their next opponent will be determined once the remaining quarterfinal series conclude.
