Kazakhstan crowned Asian Champions

In the final game of the Asian Championship, Kazakhstan defeated Japan. Roman Starchenko led the way with two goals, while Kirill Lyapunov — scoring his first-ever goal for the national team — and Alexander Borisevich added one each. Assists were recorded by Kirill Lyapunov, Oleg Boyko, and Batyrlan Muratov.

With this win, Talgat Zhaylauov’s team finished the tournament with a perfect record — three wins in three games — and claimed the gold medals.
