Hockey club «Barys» officially announces the signing of a contract with Maxim Mukhametov. The one-way agreement is valid for two years until May 31, 2026.
The Kazakhstani forward has spent almost his entire career within the «Barys» system, playing for «Snezhnye Barsy» and «Nomad». In 2023, he helped the «Nomads» win the gold medals of the Kazakhstan Championship and was recognized as the best forward in Pro Hokei Ligasy. Last season, Maxim debuted in the KHL with «Metallurg», earning 4 points (1+3) in 24 regular-season games. In the playoffs, Mukhametov played 4 games and won the Gagarin Cup.

- Mukhametov is a versatile forward who can play both center and wing. He can handle a large workload, including in defense. Perhaps he did not get much playing time with «Metallurg», but his debut in the league was quite interesting. We expect Maxim to start contributing to the team from the first matches.
