Nomad Falls to Almaty in Overtime Again

Today, the Astana team played its final regular-season match against the team from the southern capital. In a tense battle, the visitors fell to the hosts 5-6 in overtime. Timur Mindubaev opened the scoring, but Egor Anisimov quickly equalized. The second period began with a goal from Dias Guseinov. Then, Evgeny Fokin and Egor Anisimov tied the game once again. However, five minutes before the end of the period, Dias Guseinov scored his second goal, giving his team the lead. The final stretch of the game started with Guseinov completing his hat-trick, reinforcing his role as the current team captain. However, the game required extra time after Stepan Shtefan and Rinat Valiev quickly leveled the score for the Astana side. The game-winning goal was scored by Artyom Burdelyov just 44 seconds into overtime.
