Sibir continues its fight for a playoff spot. In their last game, the Novosibirsk team secured a 3-2 home victory over Torpedo. The goals against the Nizhny Novgorod side were scored by Sergei Shirokov on the power play, Maksim Sushko, and Nikita Korotkov. Goaltender Anton Krasotkin made 40 saves. Head coach Vadim Yepanchintsev noted that his team executed the game plan well and highlighted their strong play in the neutral zone.

On Saturday, Barys suffered a loss to Amur in Khabarovsk. Roman Starchenko and Dinmukhamed Kaiyrzhan each recorded a goal and an assist. The captain’s goal was the 215th of his career. Goaltender Artem Shestakov made 26 saves. Head coach Galym Mambetaliyev pointed out that the opponent had too much freedom in front of the net.
