Snezhnye Barsy - Omskie Yastreby: Game Preview

Omskie Yastreby concluded their home series with a game against Sibirskie Snaypery. The hosts won 3:2 in a shootout. Yegor Trofimchuk and Roman Laman scored in regulation, while Bogdan Kosenko converted the game-winning shootout attempt. Prior to that, Alexander Pavlov’s team played two games against Stalnye Lisy, losing both. In the first game, which ended 3:5, Leonid Levchenko scored twice, while Kirill Burmistrov added one goal for the Yastreby. In the second game, which ended 1:2, Bogdan Kosenko scored the team’s only goal.

Heading into the game against the Astana side, Omskie Yastreby sit at the bottom of the Golden Division standings with three points from five games.

Snezhnye Barsy concluded their short road trip in Perm, where they played two games against MHK Molot. In the first game, the visitors suffered a 1:4 defeat, with Timur Mindubayev scoring the team’s only goal. In the second game, Ilgiz Nuriev’s team secured a 4:3 victory. Mikhail Kolenko and Rauan Kaiyrzhan scored their first MHL goals. Kaiyrzhan also scored twice, while Timur Mindubayev netted the game-winning goal for the Barsy.

Before travelling to Perm, the Astana side played their final home game against Loko-76, suffering a 1:2 shootout defeat. Ilya Gromov scored Snezhnye Barsy’s only goal, recording his first MHL goal.

Snezhnye Barsy currently sit sixth in the Silver Division standings with four points from five games.
