IIHF Division I World Championship. Spain – Kazakhstan 2:3

In the third game of the Division I Group B World Championship, the Kazakhstan national team defeated Spain and earned their first win of the tournament.

Key contributions to the victory came from Nadezhda Filimonova, who scored twice, Anastassiya Orazbayeva, who added a precise shot, and goaltender Arina Shchyokolova, who made 42 saves.

After three game days, Kazakhstan has 4 points and sits in fifth place in the standings. On April 17 at 19:30 Astana time, Alexander Tebenkov’s team will face South Korea.
